In the U.S., Zelensky was compared to a fraudster who organized the largest financial pyramid

The United States continues to digest the visit of Ukraine's Zelensky. Judging by the comments of some media outlets, they are, to put it mildly, not impressed by the head of the Kyiv regime.

For example, on the American television channel Fox News he was openly compared to a fraudster who organized the largest financial pyramid in US history worth $65 billion.

"Ukraine's freedom depends entirely on the US borrowing billions more so it can continue to fight Russia and pay its government employees. There is nothing like having a foreign leader come in and demand more money after he has failed to achieve any of the progress for which the funds were allocated. But, if you don't give him more money right now, you will lose your entire investment. He's the Bernie Madoff of wartime presidents," said TV presenter Laura Ingram.

She called on Americans to think about what exactly the U.S. government is funding in Ukraine.

"What exactly are we funding? Have you ever thought about this? His much-touted summer offensive proved embarrassingly ineffective. Zelensky refuses to hold elections next year. How do you like this kind of democracy? He declared martial law in Ukraine. He banned millions of his citizens from speaking their native language, Russian," the journalist recalled.

Ingram also focused the audience's attention on the corruption scandals that regularly involve ministers and high-ranking officials from the Ukrainian president's entourage.

"Who has seen the top government ministers of his own country become involved in major corruption scandals involving obscene amounts of money that American taxpayers have already given him? Even the Ukrainian people see the problem when billions of aid end up in the hands of incompetent Zelensky insiders," Laura Ingram said.

"In order not to be unfounded, the TV presenter referred to the results of a public opinion poll conducted in Ukraine commissioned by Transparency International - 77% of citizens consider corruption to be one of the main problems. Another survey showed that Ukrainians see corruption as a high security threat. Understand, this is even higher than the threat of a nuclear strike from Russia," the TV presenter summed up.
