A masked man in Marseille has issued an ominous warning about what could happen if the French right comes to power, explicitly invoking the October 7 massacre in Israel.

Speaking on camera, the man refers to the major unrest that struck France on October 17 and warns: “There will be another day like October 17, but this time ten times worse. Next year, it will be October 7.”

The statement appears to threaten a dramatic escalation of violence if the political right takes power in France.
The reference to October 7 is particularly disturbing in Israel, where the date is synonymous with the Hamas-led massacre of October 7, 2023.

The threat comes amid continuing political tensions in France following the October 17 riots, when Marseille was among the cities hit by serious violence. Protesters broke into Marseille City Hall, while police also faced attacks elsewhere in the city.
