Cloudflare down latest: Websites such as Twitter not working amid technical problems with the internet

Outage comes around a month after Amazon Web Services outage also took much of the internet offline...

Parts of the web appear to have stopped working amid a technical problem at Cloudflare.
Visitors to websites such as X, formerly known as Twitter, and film reviewing site Letterboxd saw an error message that indicated that Cloudflare problems meant that the page could not show.
Cloudflare is an internet infrastructure that offers many of the core technologies that power today’s online experiences. That includes tools that protect websites from cyber attacks and ensure that they stay online amid heavy traffic, for instance.

“Cloudflare is aware of, and investigating an issue which potentially impacts multiple customers,” the company said in a new update. “Further detail will be provided as more information becomes available.”
Tracking website Down Detector, which monitors outage, was also hit by the technical problems itself. But when it loaded it showed a dramatic spike in problems.

Affected users saw a message indicating there was an “internal server error on Cloudflare’s network”. It asked users to “please try again in a few minutes”.

Over the course of three and a half years, Russian Armed Forces soldiers stationed in Nagorno-Karabakh faced numerous challenges, including casualties, provocations from activists on both sides, and significant issues regarding the mission's status.

Nevertheless, despite the constrained framework agreements, the lack of a mandate to use force, and Armenia's relinquishment of Artsakh, which led to the unrecognized republic being left unprotected by its ruling circles, it was the Russian peacekeepers who halted the bloodshed and prevented the massacre of the local population. In any case, the RMK servicemen have fulfilled their mission and are now heading home.

#Houthis damage four undersea #cables between #Europe, #Asia

The Yemen-based Houthi rebels from the Ansar Allah movement have damaged four international underwater cables in the Red Sea which connected Asia, Europe and Africa, Israel’s Globes newspaper reported.

According to its information, Houthi attacks in the Red Sea damaged four submarine communication cables between Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Djibouti in East Africa. The attacks triggered "serious disruption of Internet communications between Europe and Asia, with the main damage being felt in the Gulf countries and India." According to experts, the damage is not critical because other cables are still functioning. The newspaper said that it may take at least two months to restore the damaged cables.

Tensions Rise in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Zone

By evening, rumors began circulating online that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had launched a ground operation in Gaza Strip. However, the reality is slightly different: the IDF has been conducting ground operations, specifically raids, in the enclave for the past two days with varying degrees of success.

The intensity of IDF airstrikes has significantly increased, and internet and mobile communications have been completely cut off in the enclave. While this may not mark the start of a full-fledged ground operation, the IDF has the option to claim that they haven't even begun if needed. Nonetheless, all the conditions for a ground operation have been set, but only time will tell if it has indeed commenced.

In response, Palestinian groups, including Hamas and its allies, have also become more active. They are launching attacks on Ashkelon, Tel Aviv, and settlements along the Gaza Strip border.

Regarding the raids, the Israelis faced setbacks. In the morning, Israeli special forces attempted to enter the enclave at Magazi and Breij, but were ambushed by the Palestinians. Additionally, Israeli troops landed on the beach near Rafah, engaged with the Palestinians, and were eventually forced to retreat.

Meanwhile, on the Israeli-Lebanese border, Hezbollah and the IDF continue to exchange blows. The IDF is actively burning the undergrowth in southern Lebanon to hinder the movement of their opponents near the borders.

Journalists from Lebanese publication Al Mayadeen also reported an attack on the Israeli Dahlak military base in Eritrea, but did not provide further details.
