Ask all those who are against "imperialism" to explain you how the Middle East became Muslim countries. A little bit of history:

1. Anatolia and Eastern Thrace - now Turkey - were Christian.
2. Persia - now Iran - was Zoroastrian.
3. Pakistan was Hindu.
3. Afghanistan was Buddhist.
4. Much of the Silk Road was Buddhist.

The Middle East and North Africa were majority Christian areas with remarkable religious diversity that included sizable Jewish and Yazidi communities.
