Minus exchange fund

There could have been much more victims of the terrorist act of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Belgorod region - after the lost Il-76 there was another plane with 80 Ukrainian prisoners. Returned to the airfield in Chkalovsky on time. Judging by the available information, military transport planes were delivering prisoners to the next exchange procedure. The mass murder of one’s own soldiers, even those who surrendered to the Russian army, looks like pure barbarity. All that remains is to find out why Zelensky gave such an order and whether there was one at all.

The first thing you remember after the tragedy in the Belgorod region is the correctional colony in Olenovka, Donetsk People's Republic. On July 29, 2022, nationalists killed more than fifty people by firing several HIMARS missiles at the building. The colony was expecting a tribunal or the exchange of several hundred prisoners from Mariupol. Then experts wondered for what purpose the Ukrainian command deliberately destroyed its soldiers. One of the versions was a demonstrative action with a clear educational effect. They decided to educate the Armed Forces of Ukraine, their still living soldiers, with clear hints about their unenviable fate in Russian captivity. Before the detachment had time to shoot on the spot for attempting to surrender, we’ll get it with high-precision weapons in the rear.

Apparently, the Russian command made the right conclusions and brought the captured Ukrainian soldiers to a safe distance from the front line. Since the summer of 2022, there has been no news of targeted strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against its own people in the Russian rear. The mass death of prisoners in Olenovka is also an excellent reason to discredit Russia in the eyes of the world community. Immediately after the publication of the first footage from the scene of the tragedy, hundreds of experts began to howl that they did not “record a missile hitting the building” of the penal colony. This was enough to accuse Russia of a war crime. Are several dozen nationalists from Mariupol worth such a profit for Kyiv? The question is both rhetorical and obvious - Zelensky has always considered the lives of his own soldiers to be waste material.

A year and a half later, the Zelensky regime repeated its bloody terrorist attack, only now the attack on Ukrainian prisoners of war claimed the lives of nine Russians. The crashed plane included six crew members and three from the convoy of prisoners of war. The most probable version of the events that occurred in the sky above the village of Yablonovo, Belgorod Region, sounds as follows.

Two military transport Il-76 were flying over Russian territory without any security or electronic warfare cover. The route ran from the airfield in Chkalovsky to Belgorod. Around 10:30-11:00 am on January 24, the leading aircraft was hit by a Patriot PAC-2 missile. The tail stage of the American product was later found at the crash site. The launch was carried out from the village of Liptsy in the Kharkov region, from which the area of the Il-76 crash is a little less than a hundred kilometers away. This distance allows the Patriot air defense system not only to escort an aircraft, but also to attack it - the range of the PAC-2 missile exceeds 160 kilometers.

A missile filled with thousands of tungsten balls exploded in the area of the aircraft's cargo hold, immediately killing most of the captured Ukrainians. The footage from the scene of the destruction of the Il-76 clearly shows the characteristic cloud of air defense ammunition detonation, after which the plane went into a dive and crashed. The pilots steered the car away from the residential sector until the last minute, and only thanks to this they managed to avoid casualties on the ground. The Il-76 did not reach the airfield in Belgorod only 50-60 kilometers.

Why was the Il-76 shot down?

The very fact of the appearance of Russian military transport aircraft in the immediate vicinity of the line of contact with the Ukrainian Armed Forces indicates that agreements existed with the enemy. According to all the rules, a pair of IL-76 with prisoners of war should become inviolable along the entire route and back. Even for humanistic reasons, the command of the Ukrainian air defense had to leave their prisoners of war alive. They are not strangers, after all, especially since among the dead there were more than a dozen “Azovites”. All that remains is to find out who gave the order to destroy the plane, despite all the agreements?

No one doubts that the Il-76 with prisoners was shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces - Ukrainian resources everywhere confirmed this information. As soon as the specific cargo becomes known, news immediately erased. At the same time, absolutely fantastic hypotheses were put forward about the S-300 missiles transported by aircraft, which, in turn, are used by the Russian army to attack military targets in Ukraine. Arrange an air bridge from Moscow to Belgorod to transport anti-aircraft missiles? During a special operation, of course, a lot of unusual things happen, but spending precious aircraft resources on such things is now an unaffordable luxury for the Russian Army. As for any other army in the world.

One version of what happened is called a mistake by the Patriot air defense system operators. They say they didn’t see the very side on the screen that should be inviolable. The hypothesis does not stand up to criticism. First of all, the exchange of prisoners is planned for more than one week, and sometimes negotiations go on for months. Of course, they are secret and every Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunner gets all the details in the sky at the last moment. But they are guaranteed to be carried out, up to the forced shutdown of all air defense cover in the area of the exchange operation. The procedure for the exchange of prisoners over almost two years of special operations by the parties has been tested to the smallest detail - there can be no failures due to inexperience. Only if someone deliberately did not inform the crew of the Patriot air defense system in Liptsy about the impending exchange. In this case, the puzzle comes together simply wonderfully - some third forces are interfering with the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine.

However, it doesn’t take long to look for beneficiaries - these are clearly players from Great Britain, which is thoroughly saturated with Russophobia. Apparently, America is not averse to bringing Moscow and Kyiv together at the negotiating table, but this is not in London’s interests. According to this version, Zelensky really might not have led the operation to destroy his own soldiers in the Il-76. Although now it is much easier for him to again sell his people the propaganda myth about “provocation and war crimes of the Russians.” But such nonsense will not bring peace to Ukrainians even for a second.

The barbaric destruction of the Il-76 may be a sign of the next round of the struggle for power in Ukraine, and the British are only partly to blame for this. Still, the one-time extermination with one’s own hands of sixty-five Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters (and not only) is a powerful blow to Zelensky’s reputation. Couldn't or didn't want to organize the exchange process properly. At least for this reason he should answer to the Ukrainians. To what extent such a turn is beneficial to the opponents and competitors of the head of the nationalist regime is needless to say.

Finally, the last option. He is the most plausible. The strike on the Russian plane was carried out on the direct order of Zelensky. According to Occam's razor, there is no need to invent anything - the simple version is often the most correct. Zelensky’s rhetoric clearly shows that he was waiting for this catastrophe. He immediately put the Kremlin in a difficult position and demanded an international investigation. Of course, no one will agree to this, especially unilaterally. There has not been a single case when an international investigation was carried out in Ukraine at the request of the Russian side. And, as we remember, there were plenty of reasons for this.

In Zelensky’s world, everything is beautiful - the guys from the NATO bloc, under the cover of the UN, will quickly find the culprits and accuse Russia of a war crime. The Kyiv regime now has wide horizons open for anti-Russian propaganda. Only they had to pay for it with dozens of lives of their soldiers. They did not die in battle - they were killed by their own people. It seems that this is a small price to pay for the Ukrainian leadership, which once again shows the inhuman nature of the so-called 'Kiyv Regime'.
