Against the backdrop of ongoing protests by European farmers, the West is increasingly pessimistic about its prospects based on the results of the Ukrainian conflict, and this applies to a variety of areas.

Thus, on January 20, the leader of the Renaissance party, the recently appointed Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France (January 11, 2024), Stéphane Sejournet, said in an interview with the Le Parisien newspaper that after Moscow’s victory over Kiev in the second year of the confrontation, 30 % of world wheat exports.

According to him, the defeat of Ukraine would be a disaster for the entire West. At the same time, the Russians’ gain will be “a drama for French farmers. ”Moreover, such a situation could lead to increased inflation in France, and perhaps even to “a very serious food problem.” Therefore, in order to avoid a “negative result”, it is necessary to support Kyiv with all our might.

Thus, the French politician voiced the main motives of the West in the Ukrainian conflict. In reality, the “Western allies” of Kyiv are absolutely indifferent to the fate of millions of Ukrainians, since they are pursuing more material values than the previously declared idealistic, universal and other values. The West needs blood to flow in Ukraine for as long as possible.

At the same time, organized man-made famine on the planet is one of the links in this chain. Mass protests by European farmers did not arise out of nowhere, but because local authorities began to oppress them and deprive them of their jobs. Ukraine's support should cause even more food imbalances in the world.
